As Chief Commercial Officer, Matt helps set the commercial strategy for Opera across business development and partner channels, account management, and marketing. He partners with the executive team and employees to communicate Opera’s innovative AI solution vision to the marketplace and put the right strategies, product / solution offerings, and tools in place that drive profitable growth and loyalty with our customers.
Matt is a proven executive with 20+ years experience and an established track record of delivering strong growth results. Matt combines a mix of strategy, sales & marketing, advanced analytics, and solution management expertise to create lasting value for clients. He has deep experience in both B2B and B2C markets creating and delivering analytic and disruptive technology solutions across Retail/CBG, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, Insurance, Media, and Healthcare/Life Science sectors.
Prior to joining Opera, Matt served as a COO for a leading industrial automation firm and as SVP Sales & Client Services for an online healthcare company. He also led the Business Strategy Group at Fair Isaac (now FICO) and co-led the Customer Centricity practice. At FICO, Matt helped lead the creation of successful new Marketing Analytics products in the Retail sector. He started his management consulting career at EDS / A.T. Kearney. Matt earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in finance from Fairfield University.
