Education & Experience

David earned a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Cornell University.

Prior to joining Opera, David worked extensively within the nonprofit sector with organizations including Sesame Workshop, Jumpstart for Young Children, and New Sector Alliance. A firm believer that nonprofit and for-profit organizations have much to learn from each other, David is actively looking forward to learning more about the intersection of these two sectors.

As if traveling for business were not enough, David loves to just pick up and jet off to the next destination for a few days. One of his favorite jaunts was a weekend in Zurich, where he and two other Operaites trekked the Uetliberg and indulged in some fondue. When actually in New York, David, a self-professed foodie, is constantly on the hunt for the next up-and-coming restaurant.
